Julie Gentile, CPA
PARTNER and CO-FOUNDER
Julie has been a licensed CPA in California for over twenty-five years. Julie holds a Bachelor’s Degree, in Accounting from California State University, Long Beach, which is where she and Patrick became friends. She also holds a Master’s in Business Taxation as well as a Master’s in Business Administration and has completed her Doctoral Studies in Philosophy. Julie began her career in public accounting with KPMG Peat Marwick, a multi-national CPA firm. She left public accounting to become the Tax Director at a nationwide healthcare provider. Julie was a full-time professor at Glendale Community College and California State University, Long Beach, for over twenty years, retiring in 2015. She has specialized in the income tax area most of her career, however, she has taught all levels and types of accounting courses, in addition to several general business courses. Julie also serves on the Boards of the Santa Anita Family YMCA, the Kiwanis Club of Monrovia, and Monrovia Reads.
Patrick McCloskey, CPA
PARTNER and CO-FOUNDER
Patrick has been a licensed CPA in California for over ten years. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree, in Accounting from California State University, Long Beach. He also has a Juris Doctorate from Abraham Lincoln University of Law, and is a member of the California State Bar. Patrick began his career in public accounting at Arthur Andersen, formerly a “Big 8” accounting firm. He left public accounting to start his own internet service provider and computer retail store, which he ran near Chicago, for over ten years. Patrick maintains a California Real Estate Broker’s license, and was also an adjunct accounting professor at Glendale Community College, teaching audit, cost accounting, and Quick Books. Patrick currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of SCE Federal Credit Union.

Senior Information Officer
Hal has been in the Information Technology field since early 2001. He is extremely knowledgeable in many areas of systems integration and systems collaboration. We are lucky to have such an experienced specialist on the team to keep our systems running and keep us on our toes. Sometimes we think he might be able to run the place without us, but don’t tell him that, or he might get some funny ideas.
Amy Che
Tax Manager
Amy has been with the firm since 2015. She came to us from a Senior Accountant position in a local CPA firm. Amy holds a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from California State University, Long Beach and is an Enrolled Agent with the Internal Revenue Service. Amy manages our compliance department and also coordinates, or completes, most of our bookkeeping engagements. She has over ten years of experience in the accounting and tax fields and plays a pivotal role in our problem resolution services.
